Hello Everyone,

WOW! It's been a long time since I have wrote something on my blog. I have been working, working, and working. I guess you all forgot about me because I haven't wrote nothing on my blog in a year or so. Well I'm back...I feel wonderful and doing good. I hope you all are doing well and staying in you Bible ( King James Version) like me. This year has been a excellent year so far...making sure it stay that way. God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost really surprise me in the month of May. I was in my job's news paper...now every one know who I'am. I want to share it with you all tonight. Samantha Myrthil, Concierge, Patient-Family Experience, has worked at Lurie Children’s for more than two years. Prior to becoming a Lurie Children’s employee, Myrthil volunteered at the hospital. As a concierge, Myrthil’s day-to-day activities include checking in patients and
their families as well as visitors and double checking that patients’ appointments are in Epic. You can often find Myrthil assisting families on the 6th and 7th floor surgical waiting room. “The patients and families I serve can often times be dealing with very stressful situations. It’s up to me to help them and provide the best service I can as a Lurie Children’s employee,” says Myrthil.

What has been your most special moment at Lurie Children’s? My most special moments at Lurie Children’s are when the children and their parents tell me, “Thank you for your smile and help.” I have had parents tell me, “I appreciate your calm and peaceful spirit while my child was in surgery.”
What does “It starts with you” mean to you?
It starts with you means that you are the first to make a difference in someone’s life by being there with a helping hand, showing love and patience.

Who inspires you at work? The patients, their families, and the entire Lurie Children’s family inspire me. I have received so much wisdom and knowledge from the people I work with and have met. I’m proud to be an employee here at Lurie Children’s.
Who inspires you outside of work? My family whom I love very dearly and my church family (Redeemed Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C.) inspire me. They are always telling me to never give up on my dreams and promises I have made to myself.
What is your favorite movie? My Favorite Movie is “Radio” staring Ed Harris and Cuba Gooding, Jr. It made me cry, laugh and demonstrated that everyone needs and wants love.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you bring?
The three items I would bring on a desert island would be my Bible (The King James Version) for encouragement in knowing God will one day deliver me; food since I have to eat and live and something to protect me just in case I encounter something with four legs.
What makes you really, really mad? What makes me really mad is being misunderstood and being lied to.
What are you most proud of? I’m proud of having Jesus as my personal savior, being me and born in the United States. I’m also proud of receiving my Bachelors in Psychology and I am looking forward to achieving my master’s degree as well.

New Life!!

Hello Everyone,

WOW! It has been a long time since I have wrote something! Well I'm back for good! How was everyone’s New Year? I hope it was GREAT! I have a lot of catching up to do because this month is officially over. Yes I know this month is African American month, and I didn’t write anything about our African American heroes. I will next month plus I will be doing some personal testimonies about how God delivered some people from sin and shame!!! I have been working non-stop, so I hope everyone forgives me for not writing poems, scriptures from the King James Version Bible( Yes I had to say what version of Bible I read), and most of all my love I share from day to day on my blog. We Can Make It

Hello Everyone!

WOW! It has been a while for me posting something on my blog!!! Please for give me! Well I have been busy these past months and I haven't had a chance to write some encouraging helpful tips on life! I do have encouraging words for today and it says " WE CAN MAKE IT." With the Lord on our side nothing is impossible in our lives! Hold on a change will come this year for us and our loves ones! We may have four more months in this year, but still hold on! With God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost help we can climb mountains no matter how high or deep we can look to Jesus for help! I have two scriptures and words on strength and perseverance I will like to share with you!

For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37 ( KJV)

Its Been Along Time!

A Letter From Satan!

Good Morning Everyone,

  I want to share this letter with those who are not save! Please read this letter that Satan has giving to you!

Dear Hated,

I saw you yesterday as you began your daily chores. You awoke without kneeling to pray. As a matter of fact, you didn't even bless your meals or pray before going to bed last night. You are so unthankful. I like that about you. I cannot tell you how glad I am that you have not changed your way of living.

Fool, you are mine! Remember, you and I have been going steady for years, and I still don't love you yet. As a matter of fact, I hate you because I hate God. I am only using you to get even with God. He kicked me out of heaven, and I'm going to use you as long as possible to pay Him back.

You see, Fool, GOD LOVES YOU and HE has great plans in store for you. But you have yielded your life to me, and I'm going to make your life a living hell! That way we'll be together twice. This will really hurt God. Thanks to you, I'm really showing God who's boss in your life, you know, with all of the good times we've had: watching dirty movies, cursing people out, partying, stealing, lying, hypocriting, fornicating, telling dirty jokes, gossiping, backstabbing people, disrespecting adults and those in leadership positions, no respect for the church, bad attitudes.

And SURELY you don't want to give all this up. Come on, Fool, let's burn together forever. As a matter of fact, I've got some hot plans for us.

By the way, this is just a letter of appreciation from me to you. I'd like to say "THANKS" for letting me use you for most of your foolish life. You are so gullible. I laugh at you. When you are tempted to sin, you give in.

HA HA HA. You make me sick.

And if you hadn't noticed, sin is beginning to take its toll on your life. You look 20 years older. But, hey, I need new blood. So go ahead and teach some children how to sin. All you have to do is smoke, drink, cheat, gamble, gossip, and fornicate. Do all this in the presence of children, and they will do it too. Kids are like that.

Well, Fool, I have to let you go for now. I'll be back in a couple of seconds to tempt you again. If you were smart, you would run somewhere, confess your sins, live for God with what little bit of life that you have left. It's not really my nature to warn anyone, but to be your age and still sinning, it's becoming a bit ridiculous.

And don't get me wrong. I still hate you. IT'S JUST THAT YOU'D MAKE A BETTER FOOL FOR CHRIST.

 Good Morning Everyone,

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Everyone,

   I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I know I won't get a chance to wish everyone a happy holiday on Sunday, so I decided to do it right now. I haven't  been faithful in keeping my promise in writing poems and scriptures from the King James Version Bible, so I promise next year to always write a poem or scripture on Wednesdays starting Jan 4, 2011. Since Sunday is Christmas, share your love to someone who is not love or doesn't have a family. Give, Share, and Love on that day; I know we are supposed to be doing this kind of action anyway, but go beyond on Christmas. I have tonight scriptures from the King James Version Bible and four poems by Marci for you all. Please, Please, Please make someone's heart glad on Christmas and on New Years please be careful and prayerful!      

Luke 2:1-20

King James Version 

 ¹ And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.

 ²(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

 ³And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

 ⁴And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

 ⁵To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

 ⁶And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

Well all need that one special person to

connect with in a way that transcends

ordinary friendship. We need that special

someone with whom we can share life's

innermost secrets. We need that friend

to laugh with over absolutely nothing,

and we need to know a hug is ready 

and waiting on the worst of days.

I can find all these things in

you...Thank you for being

my very special friend.
