Happy Summer

Hello Everyone,

WOW! Its been along time since I have been on my blog; for those who has been reading my poems about true friendship and other helpful tips. I'm sorry not posting nothing new concerning these topics! This year has been a little hard for me, but all I can say is LORD thank you for everything! I have three poems I want to share; I also have some scriptures for those who need the word of God in their life! I want to truly thank the ones who enjoys my blog; it means the world to me and it lets me know that I'm helping someone out there!

Henry David Thoreau
(1817-1862)
"Friendship"
Even the utmost goodwill and harmony and practical
kindness are not sufficient for friendship, for friends do not live
in harmony merely; as some say; but in melody: We do not wish
for friends to feel and clothe our bodies, for neighbors are kind
enough for that, but to do the like office to our spirits.

Emily Hearn
From "Hockey Cards And Hopscotch
"My Friend"
My Friend is
like bark
rounding a tree
he warms
like sun
on a winter day
he cools
like water
in the hot noon
his voice
is ready
as a spring bird
he is
my friend
and I
am his.
The last one is my Favorite, Favorite, and Favorite! I love it!

"I Love You"
By Roy Croft
I love you not only for what you are,
but for what I am when I am with you.
I love you not only for what you have made of yourself,
but for what you are making of me.
I love you because you have done more than
any creed could have done to make me good,
and more than any fate could have done to
make me happy.
You have done it without touch,
without a word, without a sign.
You have done it by being yourself.
Perhaps that is what being a friend means, after all.

Have a Happy Summer and be safe! If you want to leave me comment or a question you can! My email address is sjmyrthil@yahoo.com. You can also add me as a friend on facebook as well my name is Mantha Love!

Nite my loves!

Psalm 5:1-3
Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
